And here we go…

So, I did it. I pulled the lever. Now we wait. It was heartening that the line was all the way around the corner. The longest it’s ever been.

It seemed like the right day to begin this. My first day of grand jury duty. The eve of the election. I turned in my first play without words.

A bunch of beginnings. I’m hoping all goes well.
I’m trying to have faith.
I guess we can’t afford not to.
